He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Johnson and Beatrice Powers Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Counselman Johnson; his daughter Angela Johnson; his stepchildren, Candy Kidwell and Denny Harlow; his siblings, J. D. Johnson and Arlene Brown; his grandchildren, Lorina Johnson, Victoria Kidwell and Matthew Kidwell; and his great grandchild Arthur Kidwell.
