It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyda Maude Groves of Lexington, Tennessee, who passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Claypool Bond and Catherine Virginia Rather-Bond; her husband Willie H. Groves; her brothers, John Morgan Bond, Hilary Bond (Buddy), Emmett Ryan Bond and Robert Lewis Bond; her children, Brenda Kay Groves Crownover (Ricky), Tommy Dean Groves (Bobbie), Mark Edward Groves, Billy Wayne Groves and Martha Ann Groves Lackey (John); and her grandchildren, Kristan Groves and Tina Comeau.
She is survived by: her son Wade Groves (Kathy); her grandchildren, Brian Baugh (Tracy), Amy Lyles (Tracy), Cindy Groves, Rusty Groves, Mark Groves, Miranda Beauregard (Charlie), Ammie Ailor (Steve), Gregory Groves, Jessica Forshee and Martha MeQuet; and her great grandchildren, Brandon Baugh (Esmerelda), Bailee Baugh (Blake), Lindsee Miller (Dylan), Melanie Mckenzie, Jacen Mckenzie, Catelynn Crockett, Aerica Holt, Matthew Walden and Taylor Hayes. She is also survived by 4 great-great grandchildren.
