He was predeceased by: his parents, Briscoe Jowers and Virtle Jowers; his former wife Marlene Jowers; his siblings, Randall H. Jowers and Carolyn Allen; and his great grandchild Penny Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Woods Jowers; and his children, Debbie Furr (Mike) and Gary Jowers of Darden, TN.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
