He is survived by: his wife Robin Vinson; his son Richard Vinson; his stepdaughter Angelique Pierre; and his siblings, Johnny, James Vinson, Rose Vinson, Linda Morris, Vickie McCormick, Barbara Ann Patterson, Larry Vinson, Edna Vinson and Cara Phillips. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
