It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Timothy Ray Risner Sr. of Liberty, Tennessee, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Ray Risner; his siblings, Craig Risner and Renee Rutherford; and his friend Joe Pierce. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Risner of Liberty Hill; his wife Wanda Vick Risner; his sons, Timothy Ray Jr. (TR) and Justin Risner (Ashley) of Pulaski, TN; and his grandchildren, Coldan, Makinley, Parker and Hadley Risner. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carr and Erwin Funeral Home (1228 E College St, Pulaski, TN 38478). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Rose Hill Rescue Squad, 1755 Rose Hill Road, Pulaski, TN 38478 in honor of Tim Risner.
