He was predeceased by : his parents, Taylor Whitson and Mary Jane Whitson; his son Christopher; his siblings, Nathan Whitson, Ed Whitson, Myrtle Forbes, Gladys Garland, Pearl Honeycutt, Bonnie Harrison and Beulah Whitson; and his granddaughter Emily Beth Whitson.
He is survived by : his wife Louise Whitson; his daughter Melanie Warden of Gray; his grandchildren, Caleb, Chelsey, Maddie and Colton; his son Jeff Whitson (Lori); his grandchildren, Ashley, Aaron, Taylor and Amanda; his daughter Susie Wolfe (Todd); his grandchildren, Delanie, Nathan, Haley and Michael; his great grandchildren, Kimber, Ella, Laurel, Maple, Cason, Lincoln, Cohen and Millie; and his sisters, Ora Barger, Martha Gschwind and Edna Crawford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
