He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Penley and Gracie Penley; his siblings, Ida Lee Patton, Anna Ruth Morgan and William Penley; his niece Patricia Morgan; and his nephew Randy Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Penley; his nephew Ronnie Patton (Judy Patton); his close friend E. C. Saults; his nephew Terry Morgan; his brothers-in-law, Edward Broyles (Mattie) and Elden Broyles (Mary Kay); his nieces, Debbie Davenport and Lisa Jubenville; Russell Saults. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
