He is survived by: his wife Mitzi Hicks Emmert; his daughter Paula Emmert Hardin (Howie); his grandsons, Garrett, Grayson and Grantley Reynolds; his siblings, Sheila Ketron (Mike), Jean Horton (Dale), Lawrence Emmert (Sherry), Jerry Emmert (Vickie) and Jeffrey Emmert (Heidi); his pets, Willys and Rubi; Fairview Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fairview Methodist Church (878 TN-81, Jonesborough, TN 37659). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:15 AM at the Hamlett-Dobson (1747 TN-93, Fall Branch, TN 37656). A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (687 Pleasant Grove Rd, Limestone, TN 37681).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairview Methodist Church, 878 Hwy 81 N, Jonesborough, Tennessee.
