She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Gross. She is survived by: her children, Rocky Gross (Norma), Teresa Tolliver, Dale Anderson and Tammy Sowers (Jeff); her grandchildren, James Gross, Kelly, Jeff Fox, Ulanda Ortiz, Tracy Cedillo, Kayla, Norman Johnson, Emily Sowers, John Murray, Noah Sowers, Blake, Cameron Sowers, Jason Hurd, Stephen Anderson, Amy Penley and Kisha Greer; her brother John Derrick; her close friend Jane Jones; and her siblings, Nancy Carter, Ralph Derrick, Doyle Derrick and Freddie Gross.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Union Temple Free Will Baptist Church (9680 Kingsport Hwy, Chuckey, TN 37641). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
