He is survived by: his significant other Tina Pauline Yoakum; his children, Karli Wessels-Patterson (Christopher), Christopher Wessels, Kendell Jay Wessels Jr. and Matthew Wessels; his grandchildren, Mckinleigh Belle Patterson, Karter Lynn Patterson and Madalynn Quinn Patterson; and his brother Allen Wessels. He is also survived by several nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
