He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hargis and Mary Glenis Hargis; and his brothers, Carl Hargis and Jimmy Hargis. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Garrett (Jamie) of Alpine, Heather Hargis of Alpine, Stephanie Young (Blake) of Byrdstown, Jeremy Williams of Clarksville and Jessica Hargis of Byrdstown, Tennessee.; and his sisters, Patricia Vaughn (Randall) of Livingston, Kathy Johnston (Mike) of Rickman and Lisa Hill (Robert) of Rosharon, Texas. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, siblings several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Hall Funeral Home to assist with Roger's funeral expenses.
