He is survived by: his wife Ruth Brown; and his children, Anita Fay Arnold (Greg), Tim Mashburn (Debbie), Derek Mashburn (Terri), Amanda Jeffries Leoma, Ronald Mashburn Loretto (Frances), Wayne Mashburn Leoma (Sue), Peggy, Barbara Smith (J. W.), Lorene Littrell (Jesse), Jessie Glass (Jimmy), Dorothy Pennington (John), Vicki Weaver (Neal), Donna Brown Christina (Mike), Christy Arnold, Blake Mashburn and Hayden Ramsey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Loretto Memorial Chapel (110 N Military St, Loretto, TN 38469). The lying in state will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church (2170 Fall River Rd, Leoma, TN 38468). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
