He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Porell and Maria Porell; and his siblings, Robert Porell, Marguerite Boucher and Beatrice Keith.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; his daughters, Katherine Bohannon (Steven) and Susan Long (Paul); his grandchildren, Bret Bohannon (Julie), Jamie Payne (Tom), Kyle Bohannon (Anne), Beth Lineberger (Howie) and Maria Dickerson (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Quill, Emery, Gracie and Abigail.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (1580 St Thomas Way, Lenoir City, TN 37772). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park (1501 Bethel Valley Rd, Oak Ridge, TN 37830).
