He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lane and Athalea Cannon Lane; his former wife Anna Mae Lane; and his sisters, Margaret Mills, Betty and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Arp Lane; his son Gregory W. Lane; his daughter-in-law Cristina R. Lane; his granddaughter Aviva Lane; his brother Gene Lane; and his sister-in-law Kathy Lane. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Click Funeral Home (109 S Walnut St, Lenoir City, TN 37771). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Loudon County Memorial Gardens (6505 US-11, Lenoir City, TN 37771).
