With sadness, we share the passing of Denise Abcede (Loudon, Tennessee). Denise, born on August 1, 1938, passed away on July 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Pio Abcede M. D.; her brother Jacques Rousseau (late Marie) of Eastman, Québec; and her daughter Michelle. She is survived by: her daughters, Elisa-Marie Sellars (Kenneth) of Loudon and Nathalie Schmidt (Jason) of Oak Ridge; her grandchildren, Kaila Sellars (Abhinandan Singh), Chad Sellars (Maria), Aaron Sellars (Celesté), Zephirin Schmidt, Oliver Schmidt and Geordie Schmidt; her brother André Rousseau (Diane) of Magog, Québec; her nieces, Isabelle Rousseau (Mathieu Laguë) of Sydney, Australia and Marie-Pier Rousseau of St-Jean; and her great grandchildren, Desiree Sellars, Adelyn Sellars, Skylar Sellars and Colton Sellars.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Covenant Health Foundation in support of Homecare/Hospice/Palliative Care, or another hospice care service of your choice.
