With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward L. Smith of Loudon, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Smith; his parents, Warren Smith and Margie Smith; and his siblings, Polly Johnson, Tony Smith, Kyle Smith and Danny Ray Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Smith (Dana), Vicky Smith (Brian) and Annette Gallaher (Jason); his grandchildren, Wendy Lawrence, Raven Thompson (Mike), Amber Montgomery (Anthony), Michael Roy Smith (Kimberly), Victoria Huichapa (Jessi), Anthony Craig and Brandon Gallaher; and his siblings, Glen Smith (Penny), David Smith (Martha) and Linda Smith (Mark). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Loudon Funeral Home (2048 Mulberry St, Loudon, TN 37774). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Corinth Church (6100 Corinth Church Rd, Loudon, TN 37774).
