He is survived by: his wife Joyce Thompson Colvard; his children, David Colvard (Sherri) and Missy McElveen (Greg); his grandchildren, Mikey Colvard, Nathan Wells, Shelby Wells and Britney Colvard; his great grandchild Jaden Colvard; his siblings, Russell Colvard, Gloria Jenkins (Ronnie) and Jewel Mays; and his siblings-in-law, David, Petey Thompson, Sam, Deb Thompson, Peggy Thompson and Johnny Shell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
