He was predeceased by : his wife Katherine Elizabeth Mounger; and his siblings, Lillie, Willie, Daisy, Lorene, Ruth, Clyde, Marshall, Corbin, George, Tommy, Charlie, Ralph, Tim, Ted, Peyton and Paul.

He is survived by : his son Charles (Bill); his daughter-in-law Jean Mounger; his daughter Patricia; his son-in-law Richie Wilhite; his grandchildren, Tricia, Aaron White, Cody, McKenzie and Trey Wilhite; his great grandchildren, Aniston and Adalynn White; his foster brother Gunther Koppenhofer (Sandy); his sister-in-law Sue Monger; and his extended family, Kim, Rex Plemons, Lisa and Shane Day. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
