Howard Kastner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2025, at the age of 83, Howard Kastner (Loudon, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Howard find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Whitney; his children, Matthew Kastner (Wendy) and Deborah Spresney (Scott); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Kate, Christopher, Margaret and Melanie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their spouses, and by his countless friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lake Lutheran Church (143 Chota Ctr, Loudon, TN 37774).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shepherd of the Lake, Tellico Village Volunteer Fire Department, the Smoky Mountain Service Dogs, or the Public Library at Tellico Village.
