He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Eppinger and Zelda Eppinger (Frame); his in-laws, Walter and Lucille Johnson; his daughter Cheryl Lynn; his siblings, David Eppinger and Carolyn Higgason (Eppinger); his brother-in-law Dillion Higgason; his son-in-law Timothy T. Dearing; his brother-in-law Charles Callahan; his nieces, Peggy Callahan and Julie Oltjen (Higgason); his brothers-in-law, William Dean and Jim Johnson; and his nephew Pekka Holberg.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kay Eppinger of Kansas City; his daughters, Krista Kay Eppinger-O'Donnell (Patrick) and Lisa Lane Dearing; his granddaughters, Sommer O'Donnell, Macy O'Donnell and Harley Dearing; his sister Gloria Callahan; his sister-in-law Helen Eppinger; his nephews, Patrick Callahan (Jeanne) and JD Higgason (Stephanie); his niece Kelly Dominguez (David); his sisters-in-law, Judy Dean and Mary Johnson; and his nieces and nephews, Kim White (Michael), Jenny Holberg, Kelsey Johnson, Kyle Johnson and Sean Johnson (Beth).
