She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard L. Cassady and Lillie Francis Cassady (Babb); her husband Robert Harvey "Bob" Delaney; her son Robert Michael "Mike" Delaney; her son-in-law Jerry Alexander; her siblings, Mary Kate Cardwell, Dixie Cardwell, Eva West, Allen Cassady and Ned Cassady; and her half-brother Marcus Cassady.

She is survived by : her daughter Barbara Delaney Alexander; her grandson Timothy Arnold (Julie Alexander); and her great grandchild Jordan Alexander. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bethany Baptist Church (3586 TN-72, Loudon, TN 37774). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
