It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Steege (Loudon, Tennessee), born in Clarence, Iowa, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Steege and Marjorie Steege; and his son Kyle Steege. He is survived by : his wife Suzanne Steege (Carey); his children, Jeffrey Steege (Kathy) of Windermere, Florida and Kimberley Epple (Todd) of Carmel, Indiana; his grandsons, Luke and Layne Epple; and his sister JoAnn Wenndt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smokey Mountain Service Dogs or The Community Church at Tellico Village.
