We bid farewell to Ruth Gray of Loudon, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred E. Brogdon and Minnie Brogdon (Lemons); and her siblings, Harold, Johnny, Sam, Chester, Hershel Brogdon, Dorothy Posey, Mary Alice Green, Reva Carey, Edna White, Pat Romine and Linda Smith.
She is survived by: her husband John A. Gray; her son John Parker of Loudon; her daughter-in-law Sherri Gray of Loudon; her grandchildren, Callie Blair (Lucas) of Nashville, Laura Crawford (Kevin) of Nashville, Julia Fox (Cal) of Nashville and Emma Travis; her great grandchild George Fox; her sister Betty Keck; her friends, Bud and Sue Cansler; and also, Kenny, Nancy Starritt and Margaret Dotson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funerals and Cremations (1366 Highway 72 North, Loudon, TN 37774). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Loudon County Memorial Gardens (6505 US-11, Lenoir City, TN 37771).
