She was predeceased by: her husband J. V. Kelso (Jake); her parents, Staley McClanahan and Hazel McClanahan; and her siblings, Gordon Jones, Emerson McClanahan, Ronald McClanahan, Jerry McClanahan, Phyllis Nicholson and Ruth Gilliland.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon, Steve Leath, Rick and Whitney Kelso; her grandchildren, Ashley Kelso, Chris Wallace, Kim, Graham McKinney, Bess Leath, Katie Kelso and Jacob Leath; her daughter-in-law Debbie Kelsa; her foster brothers, Marvin and Loy McClanahan; her sisters, Enora McClanahan and Martha Hardin; and her sister-in-law Sandy McClanahan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Funerals and Cremations (1366 Highway 72 North, Loudon, TN 37774). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Union Fork Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (28280 TN-72, Loudon, TN 37774).
