Sue Estes Lawhon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sue Estes Lawhon of Loudon, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband David A. Lawhon Jr.; her granddaughter Nickie Hemingway; her great grandchild Jonathan Nobles; her parents, Felix Estes and Jennie Estes; and her siblings, John Felix Estes, Dorthea Bandy, Frances Moore, Harold Estes, Johnny Estes and Mitchell Estes.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie; her son-in-law J. D. Hemingway; her granddaughter Jennifer Bussius (Michael); her great grandchildren, James Hemingway (Dex), Leeann Bussius and Ava Bussius; and her sisters, Mildred Thomas and Phyllis Estes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
