As Vickey departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Vickey may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Vickey leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her son Dustin Terry (Heavenly); her father Sam Axley; and her grandparents, Harless Cansler (Pearl) and Bill Axley (Inez). She is survived by: her mother Brenda Axley; her sister Tonya Phenix; and her sibling's children, Kinsey Phenix and Hunter Brannon (Amber). She is also survived by several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Corinth Baptist Church (6100 Corinth Church Rd, Loudon, TN 37774).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Children's Hospital Knoxville or Ronald McDonald House Knoxville.
