He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Blinn and Eloise Blinn; and his niece Abbe Fath. He is survived by: his wife L. J.; his children, Matthew (Jamie) and Kristen; his grandchildren, Mary, Evan, Kate, Anna and Clare Blinn; his siblings, Randall (Candi) and Renee; his nieces, Emily Doane (Cameron) and Bess Wiersema; his nephew Brian Wiersema; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Wiersema and Susan Wiersma. He is also survived by friends, and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran School - Kirsch/Flett Scholarship Fund.
