With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert D. McDermott in Louisville, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Caryl McDermott and Robert F. McDermott; his son Mark McDermott; and his sisters, Linda McDermott, Starr Margeneau and Fran Albertin.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa McDermott; his sister Sharon Erdmann; and his children, David McDermott (Pam), Mary Beth McDermott, Robert McDermott (Vicki) and Julie Magritz (Dave). He is also survived by many grandchildren and a growing number of great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Praise Lutheran Church (315 Southdowne Dr, Maryville, TN 37801).
