It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jamie Lynn Smith of Luray, Tennessee, who passed away on December 10, 2021, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Sherry Lynn Raines (Knight); her grandparents, Marshall Woodson Raines, Mabel Holt (Leeh), James Thomas Knight and Becky Knight (Butler); her son Thomas Beau Smith; her granddaughter Lacey Kay; and her stepbrother William Tinker.

She is survived by: her mother Terrell Marshall Raines; her husband John Thomas Smith, Jr.; her daughter Kayla Darlene Smith; her granddaughters, La'Mya Faith and Braidyn Deloris-Reigns; and her stepbrothers, Robert Phillips and Dwayne Phillips.

In addition to flowers she requested donations be made in her honor to the American Heart Association, Lupus Foundation, RIFA (Regional Inter-Faith Association) or Redemption Road Rescue.

“I met Jamie when I started Jackson Madison County Humanitarian Relief Volunteers. She was the most giving person and always put others first. She was my "Behind the Scenes" go-to. Although she couldn't do anything physically she was a tremendous help with getting what we needed. I loved our chats and will miss her tremendously. Jamie, you will forever be in my heart!”
