He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Edwin and Jean Stuart (Sheets); his grandparents, Loyde and Ruth Sheets; and his brother Jeffery Jean Moyars.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Moyars; his daughters, Michaela Ann Banks (Mattew) of Morriston, Carol Lynn Smith (Scott) of Lecanto and Christan Gale Nolte (Jonathan) of Brunswick, Georgia; his sister Carla Barltet of West Lafayette, Indiana; his grandchildren, Brittany Day, Amber Johns (Caleb), Ashley Moyars, Colton Ruble, Justin Banks (Stephanie), Trinity Christophel (Logan), Scotty Smith, Alysia Nolte and Aidyn Nolte; and his great grandchildren, Mason Osgood, Corbin Day, Nevaeh Miller, Brayden Moyars, Liam Christophel, Lainey Banks and Bayker Banks.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hippensteel Funeral Home (822 N 9th St, Lafayette, IN 47904). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
