He was predeceased by: his parents, Hyram Joe and Emma Ilean Hickman; and his siblings, Kenny, Avis, Lara, Randy, David and Bonnie Ruth.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hickman; his children, Brodie Jr. (Theresa Hickman), Jeff (Kim Hickman), Jerry Hickman and Laura (Gary England); his grandchildren, Brodie Hickman III, Ashley, Lance Thomas, Adam, Lindsey Hickman, Brian, Tessa Hickman, Michael Hickman, Angel, Cody Holt, Thomas, Chandra Hickman, Keisha Hickman, Justin Hickman, Casey and Haley England; his stepgranddaughter Brittany Coleman; and his sisters, Patti Wallace and Joann Wolfe. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A procession will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Dyer Cemetery (169 Misty View Ln, Powder Springs, TN 37848).
