He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Dyer and Oreice Dyer (Kitts); and his siblings, Edna Lucille Dyer, Kenneth Dyer, James Dyer and Charlie Dyer.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Dyer; his children, Chris Dyer (Jennifer Reynolds), Jason Cannon (Rachel Foco), Jeff Phillips (Jenny), Brian Phillips (Stacy) and Holly McBee (Joey); his grandchildren, Christopher Dyer, Haley Thorpe, Bree Phillips, Ashlyn Phillips, Kennedy, Kylie, Kenzy McBee and Malaysia Thomas; and his sister Virgie Hickle.
