He is survived by: his wife Tina Wood (Bailey); his stepchildren, Alex Emert, Jonathan Emert, Kristy Wood, Brittia Emert and Summer Beeler; and his sisters, Connie Gail Atkins, Molly Walker, Brenda and Jerry Tharp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A procession will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807).
