He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford "Tip" Burton and Margie Fanning Burton. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Eslick Burton; his children, Jeremy Burton (Betsy) of Lewisburg, TN and Holly Henry (Brian) of Tullahoma, TN.; his grandson Avery Clay; his sister Kaye Burton Eslick (Jerry); his stepgrandchildren, Morgan Poteete (Ethan) of Belfast, TN, Paul and Jaden Henry of Tullahoma, TN; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Owen and Finley Poteete.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lynchburg Funeral Home (1630 Fayetteville Hwy, Lynchburg, TN 37352). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at the Lois Cemetery.
