He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bailey and Virginia Gladys Reese Bailey; his brothers, James Bailey Jr. and Willie Bailey; and his former wife Purnie Marie Vance Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Jean Cunningham Bailey; his sons, Christopher Lee Bailey and Cedric Bailey; his sisters, Lelia M. Bailey, Mary Ann Thomas (James) and Edith Shoulders (Marvin); and his sister-in-law Patricia Bailey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
