She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Smith and Sarah Catherine Pierce Smith; her husband Larry O'Dell Ray; and her sister Betty Smith Evans. She is survived by : her children, Michael Ray of Lynchburg and Lory Ray (Bryan) of Fayetteville; her aunt Tootsie Fanning of Lynchburg; and her grandchildren, Cory Bryan, Zachary Ray, Makayla Cook (Kendall) and Caylann Thomason (Dalton). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
