He was predeceased by: his parents, Cordell "Dolly" Bowman and Bevie Cox Bowman; his siblings, Billy Bowman and Barbara; his brother-in-law Goodall; and his niece Vicki Pedigo.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Reeve Bowman; his sons, Gary Bowman (Tana) of Lafayette and Kevin Bowman of Minn; his grandchildren, Chloe Bowman, Seth Burlingame, Nicolas Burlingame (Hayley) and Savannah Burlingame; and his great grandchildren, Gabby Peterson and Warren Burlingame.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home & Memorial Park - Lafayette (997 Hwy 52 E, Lafayette, TN 37083). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at the Macon County Memorial Gardens (209 E Locust St, Lafayette, TN 37083).
Family requests memorials be made to the Union Missionary Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
