She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Eakes and Christine Eakes (Simmons); her husband William Moon; her son William Moon, Jr.; and her siblings, Jimmy Eakes, Danny Eakes, Larry Eakes and Nancy Mangrum.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Orum, Donna Cunningham and Michelle Dowlen; and her siblings, Ronald Eakes and Vickie Markgram. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
