She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Luther and Clyde Smith; her former husband Bob Hooper; her husband Jim Carlson; and her siblings, Charles Smith, Bonnie Turner and Becky Surles.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Hooper (Karolena), Kirk Hooper (Kate), Mike Carlson (Thelma), Wayne Carlson (Tonya) and Melissa Maynard. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations to Faith Baptist Church in Mary's honor.
