He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stanley Stephens and Cecil Marie Ellis; his siblings, Fanna Rae and Harriel Lynn Stephens; and his granddaughter Jessica Lee Stinnett.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Lee Mitchell Stephens; and his daughters, Nancey (Jimmy Stinnett), Sherry (Mike Adcox), Donna (Chris Trentham) and Spring (Paul McMinn). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
