She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lester Ervin, Sr. (Gobbler) and Carrie Lou Haun Ervin; her former husband Edison Torbett; her husband Lewis Roberts; and her siblings, Mildred Ervin Walton, Joyce Ervin Cline, John Ervin, Jr. (Johnny), Carl Clayton Ervin, Beatrice and Naomi.
She is survived by: her daughter Frances Torbett Hess (John); her stepchildren, David Torbett (Josephine), Cheryl Liepold, Al Roberts and James Roberts; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hess, Jason Hess and Justin Hess; and her nephew Dr. Jeffrey L. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.
