Ruel was predeceased by: grandson Alex Tallent; parents, Clyde Tallent and Edna Duncan Tallent; and siblings, Bertha Tallent, Isabell Matheson, Clifford, Conrad, Lloyd and Darrill Tallent.
Ruel is survived by: wife Nancy Moore Tallent; daughter Susan; son-in-law Stephen White; son Michael W.; daughter-in-law Teresa Tallent; stepsons, Kirk (Jeanine Firestone) and Kent (Angie Firestone); grandchildren, Ryan Tallent (Erin), Boyd Tallent, Carly and John King; siblings, Rena Roberts and Cecil; and sister-in-law Sheila Tallent. Ruel is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, Several step-grandchildren.
