He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Wells and Lela Wells; his wife Clara Beatrice Wells; and his siblings, Raymond, Charles, Michael Wells, Inez Jones and Imogene Allison.
He is survived by: his sons, Al Wells (Dee), Don Wells (Lynn) and Dexter Wells (Lisa); his siblings, Howard Wells and Ruth Ann Callahan; and his sisters-in-law, Anne, Gail and Wanda Wells.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Manchester Funeral Home (786 McMinnville Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
