He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Means and Bessie Means; and his daughter Anna Burdine. He is survived by: his children, Karen Skeen (Dennis), Charlene Gagan, Maude Christopher, Charles Means (Donna), Colletta Bryant, Sharon Blair (Norman) and Katherine Means. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Central Funeral Home (2812 Hillsboro Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
