She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Minnie May Reed; her husband Luke Brown Smith Sr.; her daughter Brenda Sue Simmons; and her siblings, William, Henry, Robert, Eva, Rose and Ruth.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry (Phyllis), Luke Jr. and Jeffery Smith; her son-in-law Hollis Simmons; her siblings, Mary Kendall (Mike) and John Reed (Teresa); her siblings' children, Brittany Stephens (Tim) and Joshua Haggard (Kayla); and her grandchildren, Patrick, Shawn Smith, Hannah Gates (Stuart), Jessica Bonar (Jarrod), Paige Hoover (Keith), Amber Smith (Jay Downs), Justin Smith (Taylor) and Kalab Smith.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Manchester Funeral Home (786 McMinnville Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forrest Mills Cemetery (3685 McMinnville Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355).
