With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Evelyn Gene Goodwin Duke of Manchester, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie McBride Goodwin and Vernon Goodwin; and her sibling Jackie "Butch" McBride. She is survived by: her husband Max Ames Duke; her daughter Donna Duke Strickland; her granddaughter Tracy Strickland; her great grandchild Trey Bigsby; her sister-in-law Shirley McBride; and her close friend Bobbie Shelton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Evelyn's memory to Trinity Baptist Church's Building Fund.
