He was predeceased by : his mother Barbara Link Garrard. He is survived by : his father James Edward Garrard; his brother Glenn "Doug" Garrard (Angelia); his nephew Justin Garrard (Lauren); his niece Rachel Spangler (Landon); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mallory, Hudson and Dorian.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 1101 Jackson St., Manchester, TN 37355.
