It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Farrar of Manchester, Tennessee, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Price Farrar and Bertha Farrar; his wife Catherine Joyce Farrar; his daughter Lisa K. Swann; and his siblings, Robert Farrar, Marvin Farrar, Jeannette Sheets and Ruth Adams.
He is survived by: his son Donnie Farrar (Gail); his grandchildren, Jeremy Keeton (Sabrina), Katie Farrar (Josh) and Brandon Harmon (Lili); his great grandchildren, Jerrick McKnight and Vera Hernandez (Damian); his great great grandchild Harper Hernandez; and his great-nieces, Fara Mullins (Scott) and AB Mullins.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Manchester Funeral Home (786 McMinnville Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
