With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jim Wheeler of Manchester, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jim left this world on July 27, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Wheeler and Myrtle Nutter Wheeler; and his siblings, Jack Wheeler, Maxine Dennison, Phyllis Kidd, Joann Boley, Mary Lou Ferrell and Marjorie Allamong.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Wheeler; his children, James H. Wheeler, Jr., Tera Bynum and Tammy Sherrill (Allen); his stepdaughters, Jessie Morrow (Aaron), Kelly Walker and Leslie Muehlhauser; his sisters, Shirley Boling, Janet Babka, Theresa Rador, Helene Difranco (Tony), Sharon Winter (Ernie) and Sandy Hess (Kenneth); and his grandchildren, Wesley Bynum (Megan), Kelsey Wheeler, Brittany Wheeler and Lee Sherrill (Heather). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Central Funeral Home (2812 Hillsboro Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dusty Elam Foundation, the Coffee County Rescue Squad, or the Coffee County Animal Shelter.
