He is survived by: his wife Janice Yvonne Sartain; his children, Nathan Sartain (Ashley), Dwayne Sartain (Kristy) and Cindy Black (Tim); his siblings-in-law, Clarence Buckner (Angie) and Shirley Perez (Henry); his close friend Eric Clem; his sister Melba Smithey; his grandchildren, Meredith Gray (Ryan), Jake Sartain (Ashley), Tori Campbell (Dakota), Talyn Black (Destiny), Addi Sartain, Izzy Sartain, Jayden Yates (Lexy), Jaelib Yates, Jace Yates and Addie Haley; and his great grandchildren, Graham, Olyver, Abigail, Hannah, Remmington, Raelynn, Copelynn, Carter, Jax, Elly, Tru "Little John", Hudson and Hazel.
